REVIEW : iNEZ Color Contour Plus Eyeshadow

Hi !

NYX HD Studio Photogenic Primer
Bourjois healthy Mix Foundation
NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk)
iNEZ Color Contour Plus Eyeshadow (Venice)
The Balm Nude Dude Vol. 2
Twizzerman Eyelash Curler
Maybelline Big Eyes Volume Express
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer
The Balm Bahama Mama
Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Stilla Stay All Day Liquid Lipstik (Patina)

Purbasari Matte Lipstick No.81

NYX Soft Matte Lips Cream (Copenhagen)

Ba Bai !

Everyday Makeup Tutorial (School / Kuliah Makeup)

Hi Internet Peeps !

Disclaimer ! aku bukan expert.

So here it is ! Click this video below to watch, and give it a tubs up if you like it, if you don't please WA aku aja ya temen-temen buat negur haha.

See you on the next post !

Review : Vaseline Petrolum Jelly

Hai internet peeps !

Stars : 8/10

Review setelah penggunaan sebulan :

+ Harga nya masih bersahabat
+ Ukurannya yang mudah dibawa kemana-mana
+ Ampuh melembabkan bibir tanpa keliatan glossy

- Susah ditemukan
- Kurang higienis karna harus make jari

See you on the next post ! :D

My brow gone mainstream !

Brows has been a trend. Like-literally now every time I interact with people I always see-bam!-their eye brows.  No idea why. I just do. Is it just me or what ?. Ok well, I always believe nothing wrong with any makeup technique people use. Its make up. If you don't like it-just wipe it off. And makeup is fun!. I know some people can be so critical towards make up. Make up does not cover any insecurities of mine. I do it cause it simply fun.
Ok I'm getting off topic. Stop.

I'm going to share what my brows has been loving. I personally like natural brows. I like it when make up enhance my natural feature instead of making me look like someone else. So that's why I'm struggling with brows product. I am no expert but I can never find the perfect shade. Black shade is too dark. Its like I draw my brow with marker. Not cute. Na-ah. But then brown shade is just not look natural on me. I don't get it every time I asked people, they always say if I want natural looking brow, I should use brown shade. No girl no. I end up having brown shade at the end of my brow and my natural hair colour picking through. Unless~~~ if you using brown brow gel to make your brow hair also brown. That makes sense. But Its not for me. This is my personal preference. Some people can work any brow colour looks, but not me.

Again bil, stop getting off topic. Let's get into it. These are what I usually use for my brow.

Before I get into the products and also showing you pictures I wearing them. I should show you what my naked brows look like. As you can see I have dark hair brow. There's no way brown shade brow look good on me. And all these pictures are not retouched or photoshopped. I don't trim my eye brow just because I don't. I like the messy brow look tho. Better to have more than have nothing, aight ?
Also---excuse my pimples in my forehead who try to introduce them self in these pictures.

1.  Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit (Powder)

I actually don't use brow powder that much. Just because I don't find it natural cause it more browny shade compared to my natural hair. I should've try darker shade one. But this powder is pretty good and pigmented. I am not recommend for you to depend on the applicator from it if you want a more precise brow look. That's why you can see I just fill them in and not try to reshape the brow. The good thing is, this kit is also does a great job as eye shadows. So for travelling, this is great to do a soft smokey eyes as I use in this photo.

2. Body Shop Carbon Blue Eye Definer

I really love this Body Shop Carbon Blue Eye Definer. Yes you read it just right, I use blue eyeliner on my brow.

So there's a story for this. Body Shop has been my go to shop place for skin care. They have great products for dry skins people. I-am-a-dry skin girl. I can get dry patches everywhere (gross, I know). And their products work great on me. But in terms of cosmetics, I rarely gravitate towards this brand, and one day I ran out my eyeliner and decided to give this baby a try. As I swatched it my hand, It looks like grayish blue. I thought wow this could be great cause there are some days that I find black eyeliner is super boring. As i got home and tried it out. This does nothing to my eyes. I have naturally dark circles on both my eyelids and eye bag. This-does-nothing. So I let it on my make up box for such a long time. As I mentioned before, I don't the like way brown brow powder look on me. And one day, out of the blue, I just realized why dont I give this greyish blue a try. And it works wonder ! One tip, if you are not comfortable with strong brow for daily activities and your hair is dark or like intense dark, find greyish eyeliner or brow powder. This shade will make your brow look naturally full-imho. And to blend them in I use this Real Technique brush, I forget the name but this brush is such a great quality and also great price.

I know~~ It does not look that clean. Again, I haven't find "instagram brow" look appealing on me. I like the messy one. Again, this is my personal preference. I see so many people look great on many shape of eye brows. I personally think eye brows are unique so every one shouldn't need to have the same shape (I mean for daily activities, for formal events or weddings I do find strong brow is more appropriate)

So enough of me. It feels so good to be back on blogging. See you on the next post !

What I would tell my-younger-self

Hi !

I know Its been a really long time. I checked the last time I posted it was 9 Februari 2013. It was freaking 2 years ago ! It is been fo-e-ve since I have a true artist guts to share anything and be proud of any work I did. So as a comeback (I tried), I will make a post and writing what I would tell my-younger-self. I know why I quit at that time and after 2 years had passed, I have something to say and hopefully this can help anyone visit this blog.
(i'm about to drop some cheesiness-bewaree~)

One, be honest in what you love to do.

I remember the first time I posted in this blog, I was in college. A total clueless girl. I tweeted a lot, blogging daily and fascinated with how facebook works at that time (masih norak). Starting a blog thinking no one will ever see this anyway so in conclusion--- I was a human spam. lol. Just now I realize these days when everything goes in speed in digital world.
You dont have to be "amazing" to be noticed. You just have to be proud of your works. How come someone know my work, asking me about possibility of collaboration considering my low level of self-promotion.  I didn't honest to myself who I am and what I love. I would never thought myself as a designer/illustrator/artist or else because I never simply honest in what I actually love to do or just because I didn't have a degree for it. If I could meet my-younger-self I would totally slap myself and scream at the top of my lungs, "What's wrooooong with youuu ???! You missed a lot of opportunities just because you were too afraid to admit you are a designer, an illustrator or anything ! -name yourself all you want-cause that's who you want to be". Dont be me, in 24-ish years old just realized how many years I had spent for doubting myself.

Two, people will always talk.

I always afraid of what other people saying. Many people do. So. Stop. Just. Stop.

So nooow ! I have two blogs to maintain www.sybilyusrinaputri.tumblr.com will be focus on portfolio (works and projects) and this blog will be the place I would do or post the heck anything I want ! oh and btw this blog desperately need some make over.

You may see tons of incorrect english grammar and words mispelled. You may also see bunch of crappy artworks, unfinished diy projects or even beauty product review from a total amateur who has uneven wing liner. Because I want to. That's why. And I need to.

DIY : I just turned my oversized shirt into cardigan

I learned this from youtube so you can check the tutorial with keywords "DIY turn shirt into cardigan" by simply cut the middle of the shirt with scissors. But I stitched the hem, i tried to made it look more neat cause  if dont sew em, the fabric just curls. I used my unbranded oversized shirt. I bought this in big sale in Bandung. It only cost 25.000 rupiah so it cheaps enough for my first try hehe.

you can see the fabric just curls by itself so i need it to be sewed

looks better huh ?

taraa !

I have leftover label from LRBM so i just stitched it. I know I shouldnt put my name label on something i dont make from scratch. but i dont sell this i only wear this and it didnt have any label before. and also its kinna fun to see your own name on your own clothes. its every girls' dreams you knoow~ :D

I also added elbow patches. its kinna cool. its not that neat since its my first try. but im happy with this ! :D

SUPER LOVE !

GF LRBM 2012 part 1

Assalamualaikum..

FINALLY !  LRBM 2012 was done ! *pheew. Last few months I had busy with preparation for the LRBM 2012. LRBM stands for Lomba Rancang Busana Muslimah 2012. I was selected as one of finalist since March or May this year. I am one of the top 15 finalists. This event is actually composed of several series of events from consultation with juries and stuff. I didn't post any update related to this event cause honestly there're like few times I intended to quit. because this-is-hard. Other finalists have great talent, amazing years of experience and education and even knowledge about fashion and the business. And me ? I'm just a last year college student who study communication since sophomore and I can't even sew my own button how could I be a designer only for few weeks ! I am not even that close to fashionista. I wear jeans, shirts and blazer most of the time and I hated make up, they make me feel itchy. But I just gotta do what i had to do. I may be everything I even a quitter sometimes but not this time. Only for few months I was trying to catch up, browsing through internet buying some books-magazine, who's in right now, what's in and what's out. Learning about fabric, There were no week I had spent without at least once or twice going to the fabric stores and acc stores. I never knew before learning process could be that exausting and fun.

Among the process, my best friends and boyfriend, helps me so much. My boyfriend may be the most second exausted person these few months. He has a big heart and patience and time for me. He's everything. love. And my best friends, they may the only group of people who believe in me while others dont, even myself. They would spent hours listening me stressing out about everything and they just listen, they're amazing. I don't have that much best friends or true friends but they're priceless to me. Also my friends they sent me luck wishes and It feels great and I feel blessed.

So long-short story the show for the Grand final was held at Gandaria City Jakarta as one of the fashion show represented by IIFF (Indonesia Islamic Fashion Festival). Do you ever heard the hijabers or hijabistas ? It's like the nest. So as I told you before I was the only rookie among the 15 people and that made everything excites me-everything !. The show was started 2 pm but the designers already there since 8 in the morning. And I was the second arrived, everybody was late. That morning the designers met the models. Subhanallah, they were impossibly gorgeous and skinny and tall. I was stunned. I didn't know they would pick the model agent looked that pretty. GR started around nine. And the fitting began. This is my first show ever and i dont even know they will be another second, but what most excites me was the backstage part of the show. The hectic atmosphere, the make up artist-the hijab stylist-the designers-the models- It was unbelievable. It was not that big but It was my first-ever-cause I am a no one so this is special. When the show starts, the light was on, the music starts, the models walked the runway with your clothes- It was amazing. Undescribable feeling. Blessed all the professionals who gets to do this every month.

For the backstage, designers were asked to prepared photos of the total look and detail of acc and hijab. Everybody turned out to make a very simple photos. I was so excited I even made my own hijab tutorial. That's okay ! cause I'm pretty happy with the result. First I wanna show you the designs. These are the first design which got me through into 15 finalists. My theme was GREEK INSPIRED.

These are the hijab tutorial I made for hijab stylist who worked in the backstage. The hijab was so simple as simple as who I really am. - -
Photographer : papa
Editing : me

These are the final designs for the show

And these are the final result, I am so FAR from model. so pardon my....everything in these photos *ugh.
I know I made some weird poses. Papa and my sister kept telling me how I was supposed to pose like It's so easy. It's not easy.

I don't have the runway photos-yet. I'm still waiting from the NooR magazine and documentation from other finalist and friends. That's why I hope there's gonna be a second part-soon.
I remember how horrible last Ramadhan was, I remember how crushing down I was. And to be where I am now, who I am with, this year, It's unbelievable. And I wish there are more great news to come, like graduation :)
