My brow gone mainstream !

Brows has been a trend. Like-literally now every time I interact with people I always see-bam!-their eye brows.  No idea why. I just do. Is it just me or what ?. Ok well, I always believe nothing wrong with any makeup technique people use. Its make up. If you don't like it-just wipe it off. And makeup is fun!. I know some people can be so critical towards make up. Make up does not cover any insecurities of mine. I do it cause it simply fun.
Ok I'm getting off topic. Stop.

I'm going to share what my brows has been loving. I personally like natural brows. I like it when make up enhance my natural feature instead of making me look like someone else. So that's why I'm struggling with brows product. I am no expert but I can never find the perfect shade. Black shade is too dark. Its like I draw my brow with marker. Not cute. Na-ah. But then brown shade is just not look natural on me. I don't get it every time I asked people, they always say if I want natural looking brow, I should use brown shade. No girl no. I end up having brown shade at the end of my brow and my natural hair colour picking through. Unless~~~ if you using brown brow gel to make your brow hair also brown. That makes sense. But Its not for me. This is my personal preference. Some people can work any brow colour looks, but not me.

Again bil, stop getting off topic. Let's get into it. These are what I usually use for my brow.

Before I get into the products and also showing you pictures I wearing them. I should show you what my naked brows look like. As you can see I have dark hair brow. There's no way brown shade brow look good on me. And all these pictures are not retouched or photoshopped. I don't trim my eye brow just because I don't. I like the messy brow look tho. Better to have more than have nothing, aight ?
Also---excuse my pimples in my forehead who try to introduce them self in these pictures.

1.  Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit (Powder)

I actually don't use brow powder that much. Just because I don't find it natural cause it more browny shade compared to my natural hair. I should've try darker shade one. But this powder is pretty good and pigmented. I am not recommend for you to depend on the applicator from it if you want a more precise brow look. That's why you can see I just fill them in and not try to reshape the brow. The good thing is, this kit is also does a great job as eye shadows. So for travelling, this is great to do a soft smokey eyes as I use in this photo.

2. Body Shop Carbon Blue Eye Definer

I really love this Body Shop Carbon Blue Eye Definer. Yes you read it just right, I use blue eyeliner on my brow.

So there's a story for this. Body Shop has been my go to shop place for skin care. They have great products for dry skins people. I-am-a-dry skin girl. I can get dry patches everywhere (gross, I know). And their products work great on me. But in terms of cosmetics, I rarely gravitate towards this brand, and one day I ran out my eyeliner and decided to give this baby a try. As I swatched it my hand, It looks like grayish blue. I thought wow this could be great cause there are some days that I find black eyeliner is super boring. As i got home and tried it out. This does nothing to my eyes. I have naturally dark circles on both my eyelids and eye bag. This-does-nothing. So I let it on my make up box for such a long time. As I mentioned before, I don't the like way brown brow powder look on me. And one day, out of the blue, I just realized why dont I give this greyish blue a try. And it works wonder ! One tip, if you are not comfortable with strong brow for daily activities and your hair is dark or like intense dark, find greyish eyeliner or brow powder. This shade will make your brow look naturally full-imho. And to blend them in I use this Real Technique brush, I forget the name but this brush is such a great quality and also great price.

I know~~ It does not look that clean. Again, I haven't find "instagram brow" look appealing on me. I like the messy one. Again, this is my personal preference. I see so many people look great on many shape of eye brows. I personally think eye brows are unique so every one shouldn't need to have the same shape (I mean for daily activities, for formal events or weddings I do find strong brow is more appropriate)

So enough of me. It feels so good to be back on blogging. See you on the next post !

xoxo,
